There are a few reasons why I believe this muffin TOP is one of the most delicious muffin tops out there:
1) It has a subtle & natural sunny color that is very pretty.
2) The taste is sweet, sour, & tangy at the same time. (sweet= sugar, sour= lemon juice, extract, AND zest, tangy= yogurt, sour cream, or buttermilk)
3) The lemon flavor is very refreshing. I even kicked it up a notch and brushed on a lemon simple syrup- it tastes just like lemonade only the flavor is super concentrated.
4) The texture is great because with each bite you get a pop from the poppy seeds.
